Let Kindness Grow: Ruentex Group Joins the Formosa Cancer Foundation's Hair Donation Campaign

For the first time, Ruentex Group joined the Formosa Cancer Foundation’s Hair Donation Campaign, inspired by one employee’s long-standing commitment to hair donation. For more than 13 years, the employee has donated hair more than six times. This March, she once again donated approximately 30 cm of hair, grown over nearly two years, to the Formosa Cancer Foundation to be made into medical wigs for individuals undergoing chemotherapy.

This long-standing act of kindness also inspired the Group to expand hair donation into a corporate social initiative. Through the sharing of hair donation experiences and related information on the Company’s internal platform, together with an employee participation survey, more colleagues gained a deeper understanding of the importance of hair donation for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

Ruentex Group also collaborated with its affiliated medical institution, Shu-Tien Urological & Ophthalmological Clinic, to share information about the Formosa Cancer Foundation’s Hair Donation Campaign through internal communication channels and ESG-related platforms. Employees and partners were invited to participate in the initiative, encouraging acts of kindness to begin in everyday life and continue creating a positive social impact.

Ruentex Group hopes that, through the compassion of its employees and the support of the Company, care can extend beyond the workplace to accompany individuals undergoing cancer treatment throughout their journey, allowing kindness to continue growing.
